Billy Scott & The Prophets, well known for such beach music classics as "I Got The Fever", "California", "Beach Trip" and "Roll Around Rockin'" have been a main staple in the southeast's music circuit. The group has been performing at private parties, festivals, concerta, corporate functions, night clubs and wedding receptions for over thirty years. In 1997 they replaced the Four Tops due to illness and opened for the Temptations at Blockbuster Pavilion in Charlotte, NC to a nearly sold out crowd of 17,000. This award winning 7-piece dance and show group play a wide variety of music including beach, motown, retro, funk` and oldies and are in constant demand. Billy Scott has been inducted into the Beach Music Hall Of Fame, The North Carolina Music Hall Of Fame and has a room full of Cammy Awards to his credit. Female vocalist Cindy Floyd was nominated two years in a row for best female vocalist at the 1998 & 1999 Cammy Awards.
