The Band Alamo was formed in the summer of 1992 by original members Eddie Moore and Greg Long. The band performed at fairs, festivals and on the infamous "Cowboy Circuit" opening for nationally signed country acts such as Confederate Railroad, Marty Stuart, David Allen Coe, Neil McCoy, Clay Walker, David Ball, John Conley and David Lee Murphy, just to name a few.

In 1999 Alamo disbursed to build homes, raise families and take some much needed rest from a grueling traveling schedule. Although the members of Alamo were no longer playing live shows, their love for performing never died. In the summer of 2004 the itch to play again in front of live crowds became unbearable hence, Alamo rides again.

Now, after many years and with much fanfare, Alamo has recorded and released their first CD of original marerial. The CD titled " My Redneck Of The Woods" is a blend of classic country and southern rock that Alamo has come to be known for.

Their powerful blend of country meets rock is sure to be a huge hit at your next event. On or off stage, Alamo's level of professionalism and quality of entertainment is second to none.

As a footnote: Alamo is currently the backup Band performing with Billy Joe Royal on a regular basis.

City of Seneca, SC

Alamo held a concert in Norton-Thompson Park on Saturday July 21st, 2007. Groups of families brought picnics and lounge chairs and had a wonderful time. The City of Seneca has received rave reviews for hosting this band. Alamo plays music that is enjoyed by all ages. I look forward to hosting this band again.
